Oregon City Pioneers (Oregon City, OR) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host North Medford Black Tornado (Medford, OR), 69-36 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Oregon City upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Sherwood (Sherwood, OR) to play the Bowmen in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Bowmen come into the bout with a record of 1-1. Sherwood lost 61-29 in their recent non-league bout against Springfield (Springfield, OR)

Next up, the Black Tornado play the Putnam Kingsmen (Milwaukie, OR) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. North Medford will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Kingsmen come into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 48-40 non-league loss to Westview (Portland, OR).
