Schenck Wolverines (East Millinocket, ME) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Orono Riots (Orono, ME), 33-15 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Schenck upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME) to play the Howlers in a non-league bout on Monday, December 11. The Howlers go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Riots play the Bucksport Golden Bucks (Bucksport, ME) in a C North bout, on Monday, December 11. Orono will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Golden Bucks go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 36-32 league win over Piscataquis (Guilford, ME).
