Illinois High School Basketball - Prospect can't hold off Rolling Meadows

The Rolling Meadows Mustangs basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the host Prospect Knights to 42 in the Mustangs league victory on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carmel for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Rolling Meadows will battle a Corsairs team coming off a 28-24 league loss to Benet Academy (Lisle, IL). The Corsairs record now stands at 5-4.

The Knights (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich, IL). The Bears come into the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Lake Zurich edged Barrington (Barrington, IL), 44-32, in a non-league contest.
