Fans at Friday's league challenge between the West Central Trojans (Francesville, IN) and the host South Newton Rebels (Kentland, IN), saw West Central's basketball squad wallop South Newton by a tally of 59-8.

With the victory, West Central improves its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Frontier (Chalmers, IN) to confront the Falcons in a Midwest challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 1-9. Frontier lost 64-35 in their recent league challenge against Tri-County (Wolcott, IN)

Next up, the Rebels confront the Attica Red Ramblers (Attica, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 11. South Newton will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Red Ramblers come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 55-23 non-league loss to Clinton Central (Michigantown, IN).
