Northern Huskies (Accident, MD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Meyersdale Red Raiders (Meyersdale, PA), 42-21 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Northern upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Huskies travel to Rockwood (Rockwood, PA) to clash with the Rockets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Red Raiders clash with the Windber Ramblers (Windber, PA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 11. Meyersdale will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
