In Monday's league contest, the host Milby Buffs basketball team scored a good 63-55 triumph over the Austin Mustangs.

The Buffs (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Madison (Houston, TX). The Marlins go into the 5A Region III District 21 contest with a 6-2 record.

Next, the Mustangs face the Spring Woods Tigers (Houston, TX) in a 5A Region III District 21 outing, on Wednesday, December 17. Austin will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record.
