In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Covenant Christian Eagles basketball team scored a big 56-34 triumph over the Shoals Christian Flame.

The Eagles (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lamar County (Vernon, AL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league match with a 8-3 record. In their last match, Lamar County overwhelmed Winfield (Winfield, AL), 63-56, in a non-league match.
