In Monday's league contest, the host Cromwell Cardinals basketball team scored a big 67-38 win over the Floodwood Polar Bears.

The Cardinals (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Cook County (Grand Marais, MN). The Vikings go into the A Section 7 contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Cook County smashed Carlton/Wrenshall (Carlton, MN), 71-56, in a non-league contest.
