In Monday's league contest, the host Hammond Golden Bears basketball team scored a good 57-46 win over the Glenelg Gladiators.

The Golden Bears (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Arundel (Gambrills, MD). The Wildcats enter the non-league match with a 0-0 record.

The Gladiators now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wilde Lake for a Howard County match on Wednesday, December 10. Glenelg will face a Wildecats squad coming off a 65-52 league loss to River Hill (Clarksville, MD). The Wildecats record now stands at 0-1.
