North Carolina High School Basketball - North Myrtle Beach can't hold off West Brunswick

West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC) backers went home thrilled Monday as they saw their basketball team tip the visiting North Myrtle Beach Chiefs (Little River, SC), 54-47 in a non-league contest.

The Trojans (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against South Brunswick (Southport, NC). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, South Brunswick was tipped by North Brunswick (Leland, NC), 75-51, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Chiefs confront the Loris Lions (Loris, SC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 12. North Myrtle Beach will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 4-1 record after their 69-61 non-league win over Green Sea Floyds (Green Sea, SC).
