Roosevelt Rough Riders (Los Angeles, CA) backers went home thrilled Monday as they saw their basketball team thwart the host South East Jaguars (South Gate, CA), 47-36 in a league contest.

The Rough Riders (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Bravo (Los Angeles, CA). The Knights go into the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Bravo was toppled by Bishop Diego (Santa Barbara, CA), 77-38, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Jaguars confront the Garfield Bulldogs (Los Angeles, CA) in a Eastern outing, on Wednesday, December 10. South East will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Bulldogs enter the outing with a 5-2 record after their 46-23 league win over Bell (Bell, CA).
