Varnado Wildcats (Angie, LA) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Abramson Commodores (New Orleans, LA), 31-17 in a non-league contest.

The Wildcats (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Hermon (Mt. Hermon, LA). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Mt. Hermon was toppled by Independence (Independence, LA), 38-34, in a non-league contest.
