The Banneker Bulldogs (Washington, DC) basketball edged the host McKinley Tech Trainers (Washington, DC), 57-50 in Monday's league bout.

The Bulldogs now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Ballou for a DCSAA bout on Wednesday, December 10. Banneker will play a Knights team coming off a 43-32 league loss to Anacostia (Washington, DC). The Knights record now stands at 1-1.

The Trainers (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Bell (Washington, DC). The Griffins come into the DCSAA test with a 0-0 record.
