South Carolina High School Basketball - Union County bested by Landrum
December 8, 2025: Landrum, SC 29356 Landrum Cardinals (Landrum, SC) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Union County Yellowjackets (Union, SC), 35-15 in a non-league contest.
The Cardinals (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty (Liberty, SC). The Red Devils come into the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Liberty defeated Travelers Rest (Travelers Rest, SC), 38-30, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Yellowjackets battle the Boiling Springs Bulldogs (Spartanburg, SC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 9. Union County will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 47-41 non-league loss to Hillcrest (Simpsonville, SC).
