North Carolina High School Basketball - Polk County crushes Blue Ridge Early College

December 9, 2021: Columbus, NC 28722

Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Blue Ridge Early College Bobcats (Cashiers, NC), 79-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Polk County upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Wolverines host Rosman (Rosman, NC) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 10. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 0-5. Rosman lost 58-57 in their recent non-league bout against Highlands (Highlands, NC)

Next up, the Bobcats clash with the Cherokee Braves (Cherokee, NC) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 11. Blue Ridge Early College will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Braves go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 68-46 non-league win over Tuscola (Waynesville, NC).
