The Alma Cardinals basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Wilcox-Hildreth Falcons to 39 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cardinals now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southwest for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. Alma will meet a Roughriders team coming off a 58-33 non-league win over Wauneta-Palisade (Wauneta, NE). The Roughriders record now stands at 3-2.

The Falcons (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Red Cloud (Red Cloud, NE). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Red Cloud triumphed over Sumner-Eddyville-Miller (Sumner, NE), 56-46, in a non-league contest.
