Kentucky High School Basketball - Woodford County crushes Anderson County
December 9, 2022: Versailles, KY 40383 Woodford County Yellowjackets (Versailles, KY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Anderson County Bearcats (Lawrenceburg, KY), 59-26 in a league bout.
With the victory, Woodford County upgrades its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Male (Louisville, KY) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 1-3. Male lost 58-45 in their recent non-league bout against Butler (Louisville, KY)
Next up, the Bearcats play the Bethlehem Eagles/Banshees (Bardstown, KY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Anderson County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Eagles/Banshees come into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 70-59 non-league win over Apollo (Owensboro, KY).
