Georgia High School Basketball - Banks County tops Rabun County
December 9, 2022: Tiger, GA 30576 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Banks County Leopards (Homer, GA) and the host Rabun County Wildcats (Tiger, GA), saw Banks County's basketball squad knock off Rabun County by a count of 87-68.
With the victory, Banks County upgrades its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Leopards travel to Franklin County (Carnesville, GA) to play the Lions in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 3-5. Franklin County won 65-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Commerce (Commerce, GA)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Franklin Panthers (Franklin, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 10. Rabun County will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Panthers go into the test with a 5-0 record after their 52-47 league win over East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC).
