Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Bowman Academy Eagles (Gary, IN) and the visiting Hammond Morton Governors (Hammond, IN), saw Bowman Academy's basketball squad hold off Hammond Morton by a tally of 73-67.

With the victory, Bowman Academy improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Lake Station Edison (Lake Station, IN) to confront the Fighting Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Fighting Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Lake Station Edison won 75-31 in their recent league challenge against Wheeler (Valparaiso, IN)
