The Canton Eagles basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the host Henderson Lions to 25 in the Eagles non-league victory on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McKinney North for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Canton will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 48-40 non-league loss to Centennial (Frisco, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-6.

The Lions (2-11) will now prepare for their contest against North Lamar (Paris, TX). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, North Lamar was routed by Sunnyvale (Sunnyvale, TX), 64-45, in a non-league contest.
