Texas High School Basketball - Lindale holds off Canton
February 10, 2023: Lindale, TX 75771 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lindale Eagles (Lindale, TX) and the visiting Canton Eagles (Canton, TX), saw Lindale's basketball squad hold off Canton by a tally of 46-45.
With the victory, Lindale improves its record to 21-9 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Cumberland Academy (Tyler, TX) to confront the Knights in a 4A Region II District 16 challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 3-16. Cumberland Academy lost 48-41 in their recent league challenge against Van (Van, TX)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Mabank Panthers (Mabank, TX) in a 4A Region II District 16 challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Canton will attempt to improve on its 28-7 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 9-16 record after their 46-35 league loss to Athens (Athens, TX).
