December 9, 2022: Bethalto, IL 62010 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Triad Knights (Troy, IL) and the host Civic Memorial Eagles (Bethalto, IL), saw Triad's basketball squad overcome Civic Memorial by a tally of 46-37.
With the victory, Triad improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Knights host Highland (Highland, IL) to confront the Bulldogs in a Mississippi Valley challenge on Friday, December 16. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 4-3.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Breese Central Cougars (Breese, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Civic Memorial will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 7-0 record after their 54-18 league win over Roxana (Roxana, IL).
