Virginia High School Basketball - L.C. Bird holds off Cosby
December 9, 2022: Chesterfield, VA 23832 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the L.C. Bird Skyhawks (Chesterfield, VA) and the visiting Cosby Titans (Midlothian, VA), saw L.C. Bird's basketball squad hold off Cosby by a tally of 57-52.
With the victory, L.C. Bird improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Skyhawks travel to Wythe (Richmond, VA) to confront the Bulldogs in a Dominion challenge on Monday, December 12. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 0-4. Wythe lost 80-50 in their recent league challenge against James River Midlothian (Midlothian, VA)
Next up, the Titans confront the Manchester Lancers (Midlothian, VA) in a Dominion challenge, on Monday, December 12. Cosby will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 85-35 league win over Clover Hill (Midlothian, VA).
