The Lake Placid Dragons basketball team (Lake Placid, FL), was nudged 61-59 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Fort Meade Miners (Fort Meade, FL)

The Miners now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hardee for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 13. Fort Meade will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 69-59 league loss to Lake Placid (Lake Placid, FL). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-3.
