Georgia High School Basketball - LaFayette tops Gordon Lee
December 9, 2022: LaFayette, GA 30728 LaFayette Ramblers (LaFayette, GA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Gordon Lee Trojans (Chickamauga, GA), 60-40 in a league bout.
With the victory, LaFayette upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Ramblers travel to Bremen (Bremen, GA) to play the Blue Devils in a AAA Region 6 bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a record of 1-5. Bremen lost 64-39 in their recent league bout against Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe (Fort Oglethorpe, GA)
Next up, the Trojans play the Ridgeland Panthers (Rossville, GA) in a AAA Region 6 bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Gordon Lee will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 74-69 non-league loss to South Pittsburg (South Pittsburg, TN).
