Groveport-Madison Cruisers (Groveport, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Lancaster Golden Gales (Lancaster, OH), 37-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Groveport-Madison upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Cruisers host Bishop Hartley (Columbus, OH) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Bishop Hartley won 56-48 in their recent league bout against St. Francis DeSales (Columbus, OH)

Next up, the Golden Gales clash with the Reynoldsburg Raiders (Reynoldsburg, OH) in a Ohio Capital - Buckeye bout, on Friday, December 16. Lancaster will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 45-30 league loss to Newark (Newark, OH).
