The Layton Lancers (Layton, UT) basketball nipped the visiting Westlake Thunder (Saratoga Springs, UT), 56-54 in Friday's non-league test.

The Lancers (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Skyridge (Lehi, UT). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Skyridge was tipped by Crimson Cliffs (Washington, UT), 67-63, in a non-league test.
