Alabama High School Basketball - Moody can't hold off Leeds
December 9, 2022: Moody, AL 35004 The Leeds Greenwave basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Moody Blue Devils to 47 in the Greenwave league triumph on Friday.
The Greenwave now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oak Mountain for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. Leeds will battle a Eagles team coming off a 81-62 non-league loss to Vestavia Hills (Vestavia Hills, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 10-2.
The Blue Devils (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against St. Clair County (Odenville, AL). The Fighting Saints enter the 5A Area 11 contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, St. Clair County nudged Springville (Springville, AL), 80-28, in a league contest.
