Oregon High School Basketball - Seaside overwhelms Newport
December 9, 2022: Seaside, OR 97138 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Seaside Seagulls (Seaside, OR) and the visiting Newport Cubs (Newport, OR), saw Seaside's basketball squad wallop Newport by a tally of 66-39.
With the victory, Seaside improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Seagulls travel to Catlin Gabel (Portland, OR) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 28. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 2-2.
Next up, the Cubs confront the Klamath Union Pelicans (Klamath Falls, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 10. Newport will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Pelicans come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 75-45 non-league loss to Junction City (Junction City, OR).
