North Carolina High School Basketball - North Buncombe can't hold off Robbinsville

The Robbinsville Black Knights basketball team scored 77 points and restricted the visiting North Buncombe Black Hawks to 71 in the Black Knights non-league victory on Friday.

The Black Knights now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cherokee for a 1A Conference 43 contest on Tuesday, December 13. Robbinsville will battle a Braves team coming off a 77-44 non-league loss to Franklin (Franklin, NC). The Braves record now stands at 1-3.

The Black Hawks (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC). The Rockets come into the 3A/4A Conference 53 contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, A.C. Reynolds edged Dobyns-Bennett (Kingsport, TN), 67-57, in a non-league contest.
