Palm Beach Central Broncos (Wellington, FL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Royal Palm Beach Wildcats (Royal Palm Beach, FL), 69-53 in a league bout.

With the win, Palm Beach Central upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Broncos travel to Palm Beach Gardens (Palm Beach Gardens, FL) to play the Gators in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Gators go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Palm Beach Gardens won 54-49 in their recent non-league bout against Glades Central (Belle Glade, FL)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Leonard Lancers (Greenacres, FL) in a 7A District 8 bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Royal Palm Beach will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Lancers go into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 78-72 non-league loss to Park Vista (Lake Worth, FL).
