Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Parkston Trojans (Parkston, SD) and the visiting Tri-Valley Mustangs (Colton, SD), saw Parkston's basketball squad hold off Tri-Valley by a tally of 40-36.

With the victory, Parkston improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Tripp-Delmont/Armour (Armour, SD) to play the Nighthawks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Nighthawks come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Tripp-Delmont/Armour won 56-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Menno (Menno, SD)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Tea Titans (Tea, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 12. Tri-Valley will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 67-43 league loss to Dakota Valley (North Sioux City, SD).
