The Stagg Chargers basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Sandburg Eagles to 20 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Chargers now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Homewood-Flossmoor for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 14. Stagg will meet a Vikings team coming off a 62-58 non-league loss to Hyde Park (Chicago, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 4-4.

The Eagles (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Lincoln-Way West triumphed over Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL), 69-67, in a non-league contest.
