The Veterans Memorial Patriots basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Southside Cardinals to 53 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Friday.

The Patriots now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Odessa for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Veterans Memorial will battle a Bronchos team coming off a 44-42 non-league win over Seminole (Seminole, TX). The Bronchos record now stands at 5-7.

The Cardinals (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Cornerstone Christian (San Antonio, TX). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, Cornerstone Christian was defeated by FEAST HomeSchool (San Antonio, TX), 76-55, in a non-league contest.
