December 9, 2022: Sylvania, OH 43560 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Springfield Blue Devils (Holland, OH) and the host Southview Cougars (Sylvania, OH), saw Springfield's basketball squad overcome Southview by a tally of 62-52.
With the victory, Springfield improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Maumee (Maumee, OH) to confront the Panthers in a Northern Lakes challenge on Friday, December 16. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Maumee lost 52-50 in their recent league challenge against Anthony Wayne (Whitehouse, OH)
Next up, the Cougars confront the Wauseon Indians (Wauseon, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Southview will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 46-44 non-league win over Edgerton (Edgerton, OH).
