The Fike Demons basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Beddingfield Bruins to 48 in the Demons non-league triumph on Friday.

The Demons now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Johnston for a 3A Conference 21 contest on Monday, December 12. Fike will battle a Trojans team coming off a 55-34 non-league loss to Southern Nash (Bailey, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 0-5.

The Bruins (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Nash Central (Rocky Mount, NC). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Nash Central was defeated by Franklinton (Franklinton, NC), 52-29, in a league contest.
