Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Portales Rams (Portales, NM) and the visiting Big Spring Steers (Big Spring, TX), saw Portales's basketball squad wallop Big Spring by a tally of 46-19.

With the victory, Portales improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Lamesa (Lamesa, TX) to confront the Tornadoes in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 10. The Tornadoes come into the challenge with a record of 9-10. Lamesa lost 27-24 in their recent non-league challenge against Stanton (Stanton, TX)

Next up, the Steers confront the Rankin Red Devils (Rankin, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 10. Big Spring will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 46-32 non-league loss to Van Horn (Van Horn, TX).
