Texas High School Basketball - Rankin ripped by Portales
December 9, 2022: Rankin, TX 79778 The Portales Rams basketball team scored 82 points and held the host Rankin Red Devils to 33 in the Rams non-league triumph on Friday.
The Rams now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lamesa for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 10. Portales will battle a Tornadoes team coming off a 27-24 non-league loss to Stanton (Stanton, TX). The Tornadoes record now stands at 9-10.
The Red Devils (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Big Spring (Big Spring, TX). The Steers enter the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Big Spring was routed by Portales (Portales, NM), 46-19, in a non-league contest.
