Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Fox Chapel nips Seneca Valley
December 9, 2022: Pittsburgh, PA 15238 Fox Chapel Foxes (Pittsburgh, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Seneca Valley Raiders (Harmony, PA), 47-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Fox Chapel upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Foxes travel to Mars (Mars, PA) to play the Fightin' Planets in a WPIAL 5A 2 bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Fightin' Planets go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Mars won 48-45 in their recent non-league bout against Franklin Regional (Murrysville, PA)
Next up, the Raiders play the Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 15. Seneca Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Lancers go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 61-56 non-league loss to Greensburg Central Catholic (Greensburg, PA).
