The Howardsville Christian Eagles basketball team (Marcellus, MI), was toppled 44-30 in Friday's league battle with the host River Valley Mustangs (Three Oaks, MI)

The Mustangs now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dowagiac for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 13. River Valley will confront a Chieftains team coming off a 39-11 non-league win over Decatur (Decatur, MI). The Chieftains record now stands at 1-2.

The Eagles (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against New Buffalo (New Buffalo, MI). The Bison come into the Berrien-Cass-St. Joseph - White battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, New Buffalo beat Grace Christian (Watervliet, MI), 35-19, in a non-league battle.
