Wisconsin High School Basketball - Ladysmith ripped by Lakeland
December 9, 2022: Minocqua, WI 54548 The Lakeland Thunderbirds basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Ladysmith Lumberjacks to 37 in the Thunderbirds non-league triumph on Friday.
The Thunderbirds now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to D.C. Everest for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. Lakeland will battle a Evergreens team coming off a 55-33 league win over Wausau East (Wausau, WI). The Evergreens record now stands at 1-6.
The Lumberjacks (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Ashland (Ashland, WI). The Oredockers enter the Heart O'North contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Ashland was routed by Osceola (Osceola, WI), 73-38, in a non-league contest.
