In Friday's non-league outing, the Pelham Hornets (Pelham, GA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets (Thomasville, GA), by a margin of 38-37.

The Hornets (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Turner County (Ashburn, GA). The Titans go into the A D2 Region 2 outing with a 3-1 record. In their last outing, Turner County got by Atkinson County (Pearson, GA), 82-18, in a league outing.
