December 9, 2022: Perry, KS 66073 The Perry-Lecompton Kaws basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Wellsville Eagles to 31 in the Kaws non-league victory on Friday.
The Kaws now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jefferson West for a Big Seven contest on Tuesday, December 13. Perry-Lecompton will battle a Tigers team coming off a 51-38 non-league loss to Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] (Wathena, KS). The Tigers record now stands at 0-3.
The Eagles (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Osawatomie (Osawatomie, KS). The Trojans come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Osawatomie was defeated by Pleasanton (Pleasanton, KS), 45-14, in a non-league contest.
