Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm (Sauk Rapids, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Princeton Tigers (Princeton, MN), 71-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Sauk Rapids-Rice upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Storm host Chisago Lakes Area (Lindstrom, MN) to play the Wildcats in a AAA Section 5 bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Chisago Lakes Area won 63-22 in their recent non-league bout against Mora (Mora, MN)

Next up, the Tigers play the Grand Rapids Thunderhawks (Grand Rapids, MN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Princeton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Thunderhawks go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 48-35 non-league win over Bemidji (Bemidji, MN).
