The Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting North Branch Vikings to 47 in the Storm league triumph on Thursday.

The Storm now sport a 16-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Detroit Lakes for a AAA Section 8 contest on Saturday, February 11. Sauk Rapids-Rice will meet a Lakers team coming off a 64-30 non-league win over Staples-Motley (Staples, MN). The Lakers record now stands at 18-3.

The Vikings (4-17) will now prepare for their contest against Becker (Becker, MN). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 19-3 record.
