The Council Cobras basketball team scored 13 points and held the visiting Northwood Panthers to 10 in the Cobras non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cobras now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Patrick Henry for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 14. Council will battle a Rebels team coming off a 24-10 non-league loss to Twin Springs (Nickelsville, VA). The Rebels record now stands at 1-4.

The Panthers (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Marion (Marion, VA). The Scarlet Hurricanes enter the non-league match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, Marion tipped Northwood (Saltville, VA), 33-3, in a non-league match.
