The Eastern Alamance Eagles (Mebane, NC) basketball nipped the host Southern Alamance Patriots (Graham, NC), 66-59 in Friday's non-league test.

The Eagles (6-0) will now prepare for their test against Bartlett Yancey (Yanceyville, NC). The Buccaneers go into the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Bartlett Yancey got by Morehead (Eden, NC), 40-38, in a non-league test.

The Patriots now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Chapel Hill for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 13. Southern Alamance will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 62-24 non-league win over JV Opponent (, ). The Tigers record now stands at 7-0.
