Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Saugus Centurions (Saugus, CA) and the host Golden Valley Grizzlies (Santa Clarita, CA), saw Saugus's basketball squad overcome Golden Valley by a tally of 45-34.

With the victory, Saugus improves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Centurions host Castaic (Castaic, CA) to confront the Coyotes in a challenge on Friday, January 6. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a record of 2-7.

Next up, the Grizzlies confront the Lancaster Eagles (Lancaster, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 17. Golden Valley will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record.
