New Mexico High School Basketball - Highland ripped by La Cueva
December 9, 2022: Albuquerque, NM 87122 The La Cueva Bears basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Highland Hornets to 23 in the Bears non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bears now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Atrisco Heritage Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16. La Cueva will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 45-30 non-league loss to Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-4.
The Hornets (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Valley (Albuquerque, NM). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record.
