December 9, 2023: Bardstown, KY 40004 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Evangel Christian Eagles (Louisville, KY) and the host Bardstown Tigers (Bardstown, KY), saw Evangel Christian's basketball squad wallop Bardstown by a tally of 75-47.
With the victory, Evangel Christian improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Moore (Louisville, KY) to confront the Mustangs in a District 23 challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Moore won 76-58 in their recent league challenge against North Bullitt (Shepherdsville, KY)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Washington County Commanders (Springfield, KY) in a District 19 challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Bardstown will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Commanders come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 57-54 non-league win over Bowling Green (Bowling Green, KY).
